About

Verity is an AI assistant for Android that tries to move away from the usual chat style. Instead of a screen full of buttons and text boxes, the character stays in the center of the screen, and that's how you interact with it.

How it works

• 2 taps on Verity → activates STT (STT is a voice recognition system.) • 3 taps → opens the keyboard • Further taps → sends the message • Verity can speak using TTS (voice) • Its expressions change during interactions • It also has memory • And can automatically perform searches

The idea is to keep everything simple. You open the app and Verity is already there, without having to look through menus or buttons.

The project was made using:

• Sketchware Pro • XML • Java 7

There is no Android Studio version yet. The idea is to create a version for Android Studio in the future as well.

Verity is Open Source. The code is available for anyone who wants to study, modify, or contribute to the project.

The interface is almost completely black, with Verity in the center and just a small instruction at the bottom:

“Double tap to press - triple tap to type.”

Verity™ also has different expressions, such as sad, angry, bored, and others, which are part of the interface itself.
